Shaft Locking Assemblies, Keyless Screw Lock Assembly
Material: Steel
OKE's innovative locking assemblies deliver numerous benefits, notably in terms of cost-efficiency, unparalleled reliability, resistance to contamination, and the simplicity of both installation and removal.
Our locking assemblies are cleverly installed internally between the shaft and the hub. They boast diverse designs featuring either two, three, or four rings: top, bottom, and outer rings; or inner, outer, rear, and front rings.
By adeptly tightening the locking screws with a torque wrench, the rings draw together, compressing the inner ring onto the shaft while the outer ring is pushed out into the hub. This creates a pressure-filled environment that tightly secures the hub to the shaft through a friction-fit press connection. This robust fit is capable of withstanding exceptionally high forces, making it an ideal choice for both light and heavy-duty applications.
The strategic even distribution of compression forces around the shaft circumference inherently prevents misalignment, offering maximum reliability with a robust and secure connection. OKE's locking assemblies employ standard socket-head screws that tighten easily with tools. Once the locking screws are loosened, the assembly self-releases, allowing the hub and shaft to move freely for any necessary adjustments, removals, or replacements.
We have the capability to craft special locking assemblies tailored to your specific requirements and drawings, ensuring that all unique needs are met with precision.
