Locking Assemblies are strategically installed internally between the shaft and the hub. They boast a versatile design that includes configurations of two, three, or four rings; featuring top, bottom, and outer rings; or inner, outer, rear, and front rings.
By tightening the locking screws with a torque wrench, the rings are drawn together, compressing the inner ring onto the shaft while simultaneously pushing the outer ring into the hub. This ingenious mechanism applies strategic pressure to the inside of the hub, ensuring a friction-fit press connection that is both powerful and reliable. Capable of withstanding extremely high forces, it is perfectly suited for light and heavy-duty applications alike.
Thanks to the even distribution of compression forces around the shaft's circumference, these locking assembly couplings naturally prevent misalignment, providing maximum reliability with a secure and robust connection. OKE's assemblies utilize standard socket-head screws and can be easily tightened with common tools.
